  1. Refund Policy and Exchange Policy
 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase from Heightsafety, you may return the goods within 14 (fourteen) days.

We will refund or exchange most goods provided:

  • The goods are returned to the point of sale at your own cost.
  • Request for return goods has been formally lodged through our website within 7 days from date of purchase
  • All goods are unused and in its original packaging, condition, including all attachments, accessories and documentation;
  • A handling fee of 15% will be charged for inspection and re-certification of goods.

 

  1. Unwanted Goods
 

Unsuitable for purpose

If for some reason, it turns out that the goods are not suitable for the purpose you anticipated and indicated on the website the goods may be returned within 14 days.

You may bring the item back to Heightsafety Head Office in Midrand for an exchange or contact Heightsafety’s Online Support Centre / Office in Midrand, South Africa on 08611277491 to make arrangements for the collection of the item. All Promotionally free or bundled stock items that were part of a purchase must also be returned together with the purchased item. Please note that there will be collection charge and / or courier fee for your own account.

 

Incorrect Deliver of Item

Any item that has been delivered incorrectly, please contact Heightsafety’s Online Support Centre / Office in Midrand on 08611277491 to make arrangements for the collection of the item. All Promotionally free or bundled stock items that were part of a purchase must also be returned together with the purchased item. Please note that there will be collection charge and / or courier fee to arrange for the earliest convenient collection date. Once the item is returned to Heightsafety, the Product will undergo an assessment following which, the correct item will be dispatched.

 

  1. Defective or Damaged Goods
 

If your goods turn out to be defective within the first 6 months after you received them from us, Heightsafety will repair them, replace them or give you a refund. Products may be returned to Heightsafety Head Office or we may alternatively assist and help you to arrange a third party courier. The courier service will charge at their rate for your area and requirements. This does not include incorrect application or day to day wear and tear.

Should an item be damaged or defective, please contact Heightsafety’s Online Support Centre / Office in Midrand on 08611277491 to make arrangements for the collection of the item and to arrange for the earliest convenient collection date. Please make a note on the delivery waybill of damages as well. Once returned to Heightsafety Head Office, the Product will undergo an assessment following which a decision be made on the replacement of the item. Ensure all Promotionally free or bundled items that were part of a purchase must also be returned.

 

  1. Un returnable Items
 

Certain Products are excluded from the 30 (thirty) day exchange or refund policy due to safe risk, application history, hygiene reasons, applicable legislation, tampering or for reasons of cost efficiency.

 

  1. Refunds
 

Once Heightsafety Head Office have assessed a returned item and approved a refund, you will receive your money back in the same manner in which you purchased it from Heightsafety website:

  • Electronic transfer directly into your account (5 to 7 days)
  • Credit card (by reversal back to your credit card and subject to banking delays)

Note: there will be a 15% hauling fee for any refund.

 

Heightsafety will refund a purchase for the exact amount paid less the 15% handling fee. Courier and transport cost will be for your own account.

 

  1. Repair & Warranties
 

If you have purchased a Product from Heightsafety which is defective and within its warranty period, please notify Heightsafety Head Office on 08611277491 as soon as reasonably possible after you are aware of the defect. Please take note of any terms or instructions that accompany your goods.

After the 6 months' statutory warranty has expired, some Products have an extended warranty. These warranties are usually stated in the Product brochure, and may be subject to the manufacturer's specific terms and conditions.

 

Out of Warranty Repair

The law requires the following in respect of repairs:

  • The manufacturer or its repairs agent must quote you first and you must accept the quote before the repair may take place
  • The quote must include the supply and installation of replacement parts, as well as all the labour costs
